The eagle-eyed will have noticed that we published a new minor release of Mercury Reader late last week. This version aims to restore missing Vimeo support and in the interest of continued development also features a major rewrite of the news template, the spaghetti logic of which having been whittled down to something more closely resembling a pretzel. Should you chose to update, be aware that this release does include database changes. Always wise to back up before running them. 

Last week the web team embarked on a (relatively) major upgrade to Mercury Reader. It's the first time in many years that we've been able to focus so much brain power on one piece of software and we were able to knock thirteen bug reports off our list as a result, reducing the issue queue by 50%.
