Welcome to the Webteam Blog, a new initiative by the web developers of Institute Communications.
As web developers, much of our work is often invisible--if everything is working properly, it can be easy to forget why we're here and what we do. We also recognize that the updates we make, such as new Mercury releases, don't always get publicized, and may be missed by the teams that use our tools. To address this, we've created a new team blog to keep everyone across the institute up to date with the latest web development updates.
Our goals with this blog are to:
- Highlight the work we've done, such as releasing new sites or pages that the IC team may want to promote
- Announce updates and new releases, so that internal teams can be sure they're up to date on the latest versions
- Clarify timelines and upcoming projects, so that IC team members can better plan for their own upcoming projects that may require web dev work.
